Our taproom teams are the face of our Wiper and True brand and as ambassadors for the company are expected to represent the brand and our values on shift and at any taproom events. The Front of House role suits someone who is a great team player, with high standards of service, cleanliness and professionalism.

The Role

We are looking for versatile, high-energy, hardworking Front of House staff who thrive in a bustling environment. You’ll be joining a team that takes pride in an exceptional drink offering and provides excellent customer experiences.

Key responsibilities

• The Perfect Pour: Serving our beautiful range of beers responsibly and with pride, alongside wine, cocktails, spirits and soft drinks.

• The Ultimate Host: Welcoming a vast demographic; providing a warm, inclusive, and knowledgeable service to all our guests. The Arnolfini site is a true all-day hospitality hub.

• Maintaining Standards: From cellar management to fastidious cleaning, you’ll ensure the bar remains a flagship space for the brand.

• Team Spirit: Supporting your colleagues to ensure the venue runs smoothly, even during those busy shifts.

• Adhere to the health and safety and standard operating policies and procedures.

• Ensure adherence to licensing conditions at all times.

• Ensure that all reasonable care is taken for the health and safety of yourself, employees, guests and other persons on the premises.

What We’re Looking For

• Weekend Warriors: You must be available to work weekends—this is when the Harbourside is at its liveliest!

• Hospitality Pros: Previous experience in a fast-paced bar, pub, brewery, restaurant or café environment is preferred.

• Customer Focused: You are calm under pressure and naturally confident with people.

• Passion: A genuine interest in craft beer, food and drink, hospitality and the arts goes a long way.

• The Right Vibe: You’re proactive, friendly, and excel in a collaborative team environment.

It would be good if you have:

• Knowledge of cellar dispense and line cleaning

• First aid qualification
  

Work Environment

Our venues are busy, noisy and they host lots of different events throughout the week.

There is a a harbourside beer garden and independent food offering being provided at the venue.

Salary: As a Real Living Wage Employer, hourly rate is £13.45.
